Make ahead: Keep in the fridge for 5 days.

To serve: Sweet from fruit only. Contains naturally occurring sugars.

Other ingredients

  • 200g strawberries, hulled

  • 100g mango flesh

  • 4 tsp powdered gelatine

  • 2 tbsp cold water

What to do

  1. 1

Sprinkle the gelatine over the cold water. Leave 5 minutes.

  2. 2

Blitz the strawberries and mango until very smooth.

  3. 3

Warm the fruit in a pan until steaming. Do not boil.

  4. 4

Take off the heat. Stir in the gelatine until melted.

  5. 5

Use a dropper or jug to fill bear moulds.

  6. 6

Chill for 1 hour until set. Pop out.

Tip: Silicone bear moulds often come with a little dropper, which makes filling them easy.

Good to know: Gelatine comes from animals. Chewy sweets can be a choking risk for under 4s. Cut in half for small children.
