Other ingredients

  • 600g chicken thighs, boneless

  • 1 ripe pear, grated

  • 3 cloves garlic

  • 3cm fresh ginger

  • 1 tsp chilli flakes

  • 1 tsp sesame oil

  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

  • 1/2 cucumber, in sticks

  • 4 spring onions

What to do

  1. 1

Mix the pear, soy, garlic, ginger, chilli and sesame oil.

  2. 2

Coat the chicken. Leave for 10 minutes or overnight.

  3. 3

Grill on high or pan-fry for 12 to 15 minutes until sticky and charred.

  4. 4

Slice the chicken. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.

  5. 5

Mix the mayo with a little juice from the kimchi.

  6. 6

Fill each wrap with chicken, kimchi, cucumber, spring onion and a spoon of mayo. Roll up.

Tip: The grated pear makes the sauce sticky and sweet, just like a jar BBQ sauce.

Good to know: Cook chicken until there is no pink inside.
